I bought this machine in 1996. I spent big bucks for it thinking I was getting a quality product. This machine has never failed to fail me. I can not remember a season when it has not failed me. This Christmas we had a big snow storm in Jackson, NJ . I had this machine serviced at the end of last season because it failed. Fired it up and the blades would not turn. I had to one again flag down a pick up truck with a plow and this time pay $90.00 to get my driveway plowed. Called Sears, they needed a few weeks to come fix it. The mechanic shows up but does not have the replacement belts. He comes back a few weeks later a install the belts, a plug and put new oil in it. Yesterday the machine did not work great ie barely able to spit out the snow / slush but was working until I shut it down to refill the gas tank. When I fired it up again, the blades would not turn. Over night we gor another foot of snow. I fired it up just to see if it cured itself overnight. The blades would not turn so I had to use a product I didn’t buy from Sears and it did work. A shovel.
